The small moments in life often go overlooked. It is easy to go through life in our busy schedules and forget about the environment around us. I like to capture small moments and turn them into mementos that my audience can touch and see. I wish to share the beauty of nature with others.

My works are based on nature, with a focus on animals and pets.  Some of my works depict endangered species, to bring awareness to conservation. My passion for wildlife drives my work in order to help inform viewers of unique animals and their quirks.

My work also elicits remembrance in the form of pet portraits. I wish for those who are mourning a pet to have closure, and for a pet lover to have an art piece of their best friend. Our pets are like family, and I enjoy making art that brings owners and their pets closer together. Having a physical object representing these important creatures helps bring me comfort knowing that their memory is not lost.

The media I prefer to use are jewelry, ceramics, and paintings. I favor more physical media because I want people to be able to hold and wear my art. By being able to wear art, the owner/viewer can keep what’s dear to them close by. In paintings, the viewer can decorate their homes. Ceramic objects have a permanence that I enjoy, while also being functional and decorative. With a focus on texture and color, I imitate life into works of art for those around me to enjoy for years to come.
